Natalie joined the team at Harpers Legal in May 2012, and is our Associate Solicitor. You will primarily find Natalie assisting our Family Law, and Care and Protection clients, but she is also undertakes Criminal Law and Victims Compensation matters.
Natalie has extensive advocacy experience, and regularly appears in the Local Court, Federal Circuit Court and Family Court and the Children’s Court. She also has experience assisting clients through the mediation process, which quite often is a very beneficial alternative to the Court process.
One of the things that draws Natalie to Harpers Legal, is the focus the firm has on social justice and that everyone has the right to access legal support and assistance; regardless of their circumstances. Natalie is an active part of the firm’s pro bono and outreach, assisting clients at local domestic violence services.
She is on a number of panels to provide assistance and representation to legally aided clients, and is appointed to represent children in care and protection matters. You will often find Natalie at the Local Court – whether it be Toronto or Newcastle to name a few- providing advice and assistance to clients as part of the Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Scheme.
Outside of work, Natalie loves all things Christmas and Harry Potter; and of course, spending time with her lovely husband, and beautiful little boy.
